Alison Bates Grad Assoc Phys MSc MCSP Cat A ACPAT
Alison qualified in 1987 from the Sheffield Polytechnic School of Physiotherapy and went on to study a Masters Degree in Sports Science at Loughborough University. She has worked in private practice since 1990 and set up Core-Physio in March 2009 after moving to Newark. Alison worked with Nottingham County Rowing Association & the Great Britain Rowing Team for a number of years and has rowed at National level herself.
Alison's particular interests are in chronic pain management, connective tissue pathology and rehabilitation after trauma & sports injuries
She has also under gone postgraduate training in Acupuncture and Bowen therapy and myo-fascial release techniques.
Alison is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine and the Health Professionals Council.
The Health Professionals Council is the body that ensures that professional standards of practice and continuing professional development are adhered to by it's members. |
